Welfare & Safeguarding

“Rutland CC, affiliated to British Cycling, takes the welfare and safeguarding of its members seriously. In conjunction with British Cycling’s guidance – taken from The Sports and Recreation Alliance – Rutland CC has a Welfare Officer and other office bearers who are trained in both Welfare and Advanced Safeguarding.

Rutland CC recognises the importance of creating a culture of Safeguarding and Welfare within its club and supports the launch of ‘UK Sport’s’ Governance Code.

Members; parents of members and other family or friend connections to members should be reassured that Rutland CC has a policy and commitment to the responsibility to the welfare and safeguarding of those in its club and on club rides.

Should any member of the club or friends/family of members wish to report any matters of concern, then please get in touch with Simon Keeton. All matters will be treated with confidence and respect.”
