Just a note to some of the Club members that have been around for several years that Derek Harrop has passed away this week at the age of 82.
Jim Hall let me know a few weeks ago that Derek had been taken into hospital with bowel cancer and things didn’t sound too good for him.
His sister has been taking care of things including his house and sadly there won’t be a funeral service in Sheffield as his body is to be buried in private grounds down south in the Ipswich/Norfolk area I think.
